This urn holds my precious treasure that once shared life's joys together with me. Upon wings of light my beloved's soul ascended to it's blissful abode, and as the heavens opened her gates, the hosts of the Lord embraced this soul into the innermost of holy ground, along the streams of the paradise of Eden.

My beloved now walks amongst the saints, reposing in the shadow of the almighty, wrapped in the mantle of glory which no eye of flesh has ever seen. But on this anniversary day, my heart is pained; all my joy is taken from me; while all of my pride and the desires of my eyes are gone from me all of the day. Yet, the spiritual consolations found in our Holy Scriptures cannot erase the sadness felt in my heart, knowing truly the sad fact; that today is the anniversary of the death of my beloved.

With clouded eyes I turn to thee, our heavenly father, as I stand trembling before Thy eternal majesty.

Please permit the light of these candles which are lit in loving memory of Name and relationship to reflect on that spirit now residing in the heavenly abode of peace and eternal life. Enlighten us, O Lord, so we may prepare for that last account we must one day give, so that when our time too shall come, we may look up to Thee with joy and comfort; as we journey to the final place of rest and peace. Thou shalt Thyself wipe away all tears from all our faces, and all sorrow shall finally have an end.
